Ok I've been reading for 2 weeks solid and cant find def answer to my question.  I am setting up 4 infinity 1030w 10" subs.  My question is I wnat to buy 3 amps.  Id like them to be matching brands.  What I was thinking is 1 4 channel amp for the int speakers. and 2 2 chan/mono amps for the subs.  Thats 3 amps total.  I dont have an unlimited budget on this, and whould like some feedback on best bang for the buck amps.  Thanks guys

OK I know Im going to get slammed for even thinking audiobahn but I waht thinking

a1004dp 4 ohm for the interior speakers - $250 -$270 ebay

18001dt - 1ohm for the 4 10's - $300.00 or so ebay.

Id like to spend no more than $500.00 on this.  I still need batterys and caps.

Ive got infinity 6x9 in the back and 5 inch plates in the dash.  Will these amps do anything for this set up or just spend money and sound like pooo!  Let me know guys any suggestions are appreciated

Why not look at a couple of JBL amps. You could use a 1200.1 to run your 4 subs and a 300.4 to run the speakers. I cant remember if its a 300.4 or a 400.4, youll have to check

Good lord, don't pay that much for audiobahn on ebay.

If you go ebay at least get a decent brand for the mids and highs:

Arc Audio 4 channel amp  50x4   $289
https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&category=4950&item=5712298850&tc=photo

Memphis 4 channel 75x4    $269
https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&category=4950&item=5712490503&tc=photo

MTX 60x4    $245
https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&category=39742&item=5712490840&tc=photo

Alpine 55x4    $234
https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&category=4950&item=5712490519&tc=photo

Memphis 50x4  $215
https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&category=4950&item=5712768889&tc=photo

Phoenix Gold 50x4    $179
https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&category=4950&item=5713032729&tc=photo

MTX 50x4  $145
https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&category=39742&item=5712490837&tc=photo

As long as I'm at it, try 2 of these for the subs:
MTX 420x1 @ 2 ohms     $163
https://cgi.ebay.com/dll?ViewItem&category=18797&item=5712768071&tc=photo

or 2 of these alpines:

There are so many better options than audiobahn imo and this is just one vendor.

I'm sure you were drawn to those audiobahn amps b/c of the crazy power ratings and crazy low distortion / signal to noise ratio numbers.
1)  Power ratings aren't that important.
2)  You don't need 100x4 for those mids you have.
3)  You don't need 1800x1 for those subs (in fact, this is overkill for those subs)
4)  Audiobahn stretches the truth with the THD s/n ratio numbers

Hey, I'm not saying Audiobahn is crap - I'm just saying that you can get more for your money.

StlS_Ron,

I didn't want to say it but I agree with kfr01.  Those prices seemed pretty high for e-bay.  I do order from e-bay from time to time but never car electronics.  Some companies will not warranty there products if it was sold on the internet or not from an autorized dealer.  That is why I normally order my car audio from companies that will cover the warranty period if they are not an authorized seller or from an authorized delaer.

Not my online store and I have nothing to do with them.. I just picked an ebay vendor that I happen to be considering buying a new sub amp from and went down the price sort rather than search for individual amps.  Just trying to make a point that there are MANY better deals out there on amps MUCH better than the audiobahn amps you linked.  I don't sell anything and could honestly care less where you get your amps.

I'd go with rockford before audiobahn.  Still probably more power than you need for your other components.
