It is possible to fit a double din in this vehicle?  I am planning to put the new kenwood double din 6.5 monitor/dvd/cd player.  Thanks for any help!!!

Yes. My mom drives that car. I believe double din is the standard size. Just get yourself a fit kit and you'll be set.

Yes, you can fit a double-din in this vehicle.  You will need a kit but you will need some back strap to secure it in place.

Actually, the newer Ford's are a double din without a kit, having to secure a double din unit with backstrapping or equivelent as raydawg has mentioned

The other option is using a kit which gives you a din and a half opening ( i.e. I have a 2000 Ranger with the kit, I have a single din HU with a half din eq under it. In this same vehicle I have installed the new Kenwood DDX-7015, I believe it is, the unit you are referring to also, without the use of a kit, but rather using backstrapping to secure the unit.)
