Do I need a distribution block to hook up to amps to a cap?

HOw do I install a cap to two amps?

I was told to charge the cap using a resistor= Positive from cap to 10watt resistor to power wire from battery for about 5 minutes? correct?????

Then connect replace resistor with fuse. Then go power wire to fuse to cap positive. ? ? To distribution block positive to power wires leading to both amps??? is this correct so far?

Then either ground the amps thru a 2nd distribution block to the negative of the Capacitor??? is this correct?

Please Help me So I can get this install on and Popping Ya heard

Thank you n

You can do it that way for sure, just be sure that you gound the cap regardless of whether you ground the amps to it or not.

Here is a great little device to hook up a cap and up to 4 amps. Have a look at the cap distribution block from Lightning Audio, model# LL10db or LL4db

when you buy your cap it should come with a little light to charge and discharge. this makes it simple in that you charge untill the light goes out and likewise for discharge. you can hook the cap up without a distribution block but with the block it will be a cleaner looking setup. either way you ground your amp, battery, and cap then use the resistor or light supplied to connect one end with the positive on the cap and the other end to the power wire. your cap should turn on and show you what its being charged too. atleast mine did. after it gets up to about 12 volts (give or take) you quickly but carefully hook up either the power wire from the battery and the power wire to the amp or just the wire from the battery after it goes through the distributioin block. just becareful not to run your system without your car running cuz this will drain the capacitor pretty quick. just a little thing they don't tell you in the booklet

sorry i didn't see that you were going to use two amps. you will need a distribution block than. just follow those guidelines but with a distribution block.
