71 chevy battery draining

ive installed an upgraded alternator in a 71 chevy and something is draining my battery. can someone help, any suggestions!!!!!

So it didn't happen before you installed the alternator? I would check all your wiring. If you don't see anything, remove the positive wire from your alternator and hook up an amp meter. If there is a draw, then there is something wrong with the alternator. If there isn't a current draw, then the problem lies either on the wire going to the batery, or coincidently somewhere else. Let us know what you find after checking these things.
