Greetings everyone. Have a bit of a problem here. I had the stock head unit replaced recently with an aftermarket Alpine one. Apparently the installer didn't know what to do with the factory Mach system and lopped off a couple of my harnesses. Now i have no bass at all, and only the highs are firing. I can't even tell if the factory amps are alive. I took it to a different shop and he said he wouldn't play around with it without the wiring scheme or the old harnesses (which i never got back). It's the Mach 64 system with the in-dash 6 disc changer. Any help would be great! Thanks

First of all it doesn't sound as if he connected the remote turn on wire.  Your vehicle requires a special harness which has rca 's connected to it so you can incorperate the factory amps.

had a kid bring one in like this. it had Mach System but after the deck was in, only the tweeters were working. same scenario? it needs to either be rewired or use an amp integrator. you can use the bypass plugs on the mustangs premium systems but not he Mach System.
