changing head unit in morning....looking for instructions/tips on factory head unit removal...any help is appreciatedposted_image

There's one screw in the coin slot to the right of the A/C controls.  Remove it and give the bezel a good pull.  It just snaps in.  There's 4 screws holding the radio in.  You will need a kit, harness and antenna adapter for your project.  Good luck!

thanks guys but I figured it out on my own....it's the same as the dakota....I hadn't seen the dash until I started the install so I wasn't sure but knew where to go from time i saw it.
