I have a quick question for yall. I was wondering if the length of the power wire from the main battery has anything to do with the performance of the system??

The lenght of the ground matters more than the lenght of the power wire. It's always a good practice to use only what you need. Too much excess can cause problems

load as well as length determins wire gauge that should be used
