This was a good 6 years ago when i first got my beginner system. Once this happend i then upgraded alot of my stuff..

My Pyramid 300 ProSeries HotPink amp started playing the music. not clearly or anything.

With the sub off it was easy to hear.. I came acrossed an article and it reminded me...

Funny how lowQuality Pyramid is..

I like Kenwood but i find that there connectors are sheit!

FM reception?  I know guitar amps pick up radio stations all the time.

just a resonating sound coming from inside the amp... the internal componets probrobly had horrible connections.

this reminds me of a trouble shoot that i did one time

I guy came in for waranty work and said that he could still here music when the head unit and car were shut completely down, seconds later I found the walkman that was tuned to the same radio station under the driver's side seat!!!!!!!!   LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!, that brings back memories!!

Maybe the amp is trying to seranade you to not ditch it for somthing else. When I was useing a Pyramid amp, it would do all sorts of weird stuff, but when I got a new amp, the Pyramid shaped up and acted like it was supposed to, sort of begging, "NOOOOOOO, please don't throw me out the window."

This effect is called ringing and it generally indicates poorly mounted or low quality inductors in the system.

I had a feeling thats what it was..
As for the walkman thing. thats hilarious.. once my buddy and i were wondering what was up with my system after we turned it off. once again it was his discman that he thru in the backseat.

A few weeks ago this guy wanted me to hook up his pyramid amp and buy 2 10inch Kaptions off me..

I told him to buy a more powerfull amp and run his pyramid with his new 6x9's (that were chillin in the box)

he comes back with an 800watt legacy...   a week ago he comes back wanting to return the subs. they werent good enough... lol Liek buying a legacy amp was much of an upgrade.. I told him to stay away from Pyramid and legacy specifically...
