I have a friend who recently bought an Alpine Cda-9835 after seeing mine. For some reason on his when you push the top and bottom left corners the display shuts down but the music keeps on playing. The blackouit feature is not on either. Also when i replace my faceplate with his everything is fine. Any ideas? Ever seen this before? Everything seems to be ok with the back of the faceplate.
