whats up everyone? does anyone know how i can find out how many amps my amplifier is pulling from my battery. I have a kicker kx400.1 with a 40 watt fuse and my car...well my cars is a piece of sh*t with only a 63 amp alternator. if u can give me the way to figure this out id appreciate it. i want to know if my car can handle this thing. thanks

well, the first thing that youll need to know is that the fuse that you referred to as a "40 watt fuse"....well that is not a 40 watt fuse. Its a 40 AMP fuse. So in other words, you know that your amp is pulling no more than 40 amps. You car may be crap but most cars only pull aroung 15 amps or so for the electrical power. This is a fairly random guess but I'd say that your amp is only pulling aroung 30-35 amps max. Hope this helps.
