Whats the best type of fuse??? i dont think there is a higher end but

im not sure..

Again, one that works. Personally I use a circuit breaker. Fuses depend on power needed. ANL fuses, wafer fuses, are the highest values, I believe. But with that they are also the most expensive.

just dont buy cheap ones. ive had problem w/cheap fuses  they melt or they come apart.

All fuses add some resistance, but there really isn't much you can do about (safely at least). But usually it isn't an issue. As long as you hook the appropriate fuse up correctly then there is nothing to worry about, if your fuse holder is corroded or like then there is something that you can do.
