give me both i have a ecliplse and the guy is telling me a w7 will outpreform any sub out there

The W7 has a couple advantages. First of all, it has greater excursion. Plus it has a much more linear motor, so it will produce less distortion at any output level.

As for it's disadvantages (I don't know if they compare to the Eclipse sub though), it is very deep, has a somewhat high Qts, and is expensive.
