Trying to put in an aftermarket cd player with the scosche GM07B harness. Question is...isn't this a GM class 2 data radio? I don't seem to get accessory of this plug which would indicate it being data. Is there any way around this to get a door chime and will this affect the air bag(s) at all. If anyone can help me out that would be great thanks.

if it is the new style radio you'll need to use a Metra GMRC-01

GMRC-01 is only one plug.... it's used on the newer GM radio from 2000 up... the radio may have two plugs, but only one is used... the smaller 12 pin plug is an aux input connector which is rarely used.....

ya, sorry that's what i meant was a dock and lock but still we called Metra and Scosche and they were both clueless. The "Red" coming out of the GM07B scosche was actually the wire for power antenna for better AM reception not an accessory.
