The third day after I hooked my system up, one bridged channel on my amp just didn't power my sub. The other sub was hitting like normal. I got home and opened the amp up and saw no bad components and even used an oscope to check curves on diodes and other semiconductors. I put the amp back together and swapped the connections to subs meaning the left sub connected to the bad side and the other sub to the good one. Both subs are now hitting. I was wondering what happened or if it was because I just fixed a bad solder joint somehow.

repairs by magic.... gotta love 'em

it may be you inadvertantly resoldered something or it may be that you still have an intermittent problem and it happens to want to work right now...... time will tell

more often than not, repairs by magic units always come back....

open the amp and check for semicondutors that are loose or weak sodered causing it to shift
