I have a 2001 BMW M Roadster (Z3) which I bought used. The previous owner installed an aftermarket CD Head, and the shop that did the work clipped the factory harness instead of using adapters. Now I am trying to go back to the factory installation and am looking for a wiring pigtail that will bring me back to stock. Does anyone know of a source for such a harness. Obviously, I would like to avoid replacing the entire wiring harness.

Best Buy has a selection of male radio harnesses; the installers there call it a "reverse harness."  As I recall from when I worked there, we didn't have one for BMW, but it couldn't hurt to try.

Also, go to the dealer parts department.  They probably sell such a harness, for repairing cars after a radio theft.

If none of that works, call some junkyards and see how much they want to cut the piece out of a junk car.
