What would give the best sq.I am running 2 JL 15wo's right now. Or do I need tobuild another box and run 2 RF he12's. The 12's are just sitting in the closet collecting dust . So 1 pair needs to go.

The 15's will give you a deeper bass, but the 12's will be cleaner.  I see you're running a 1/2 farad cap  with that 500.2 I would run a full farad

Thanks for the input. Why  go with a farad cap? My lights don't dim at all with the 1/2. Would there be that much of a diff. running a full verses a 1/2.

If your not having any problems, then that's cool.  I have the same amp pushing 2 JL 15W3D4's and I have 2 full farad caps.    1/2 farad caps are designed for 500 watts and less.  That amp, if bridged, puts out close to 800.

How can that be when the amp only calls for a 50amp fuse. BTW I do have it bridged. Its the only way I have ever ran this amp.

The fuse size protects the interior circuits and doesn't have anything to do with output.  Your amp came with a spec sheet from Fosgate and bridged, the 500.2 averages around 753 watts

Look here to calculate the amount of power you will get using a 50 amp fuse @14.4v. Power is 720w. This is the very most you will get before the fuse will blow. 650 to 675 watts would be a little more realistic.

i am just trying to figure out how we got from a SQ topic to adding a cap.,       adding a cap will not improve your SQ unless you are struggling very very badly for power which you say you are not.    Really for SQ i try to stay with 10's but 12 can work just as well.    i really would stay away from the 15's

Yea I am going to pull the 15's out within the next week or two. I'll be putting my 12's in. If I had 10's I would use them preferably 4 of them.
