I'm trying to find an amp to power my Kicker Solobaric L7 15".  The system consists of a Clarion VRX935DV (rated: 3 pairs 4V preout), interior speakers front: JL Audio CSI 6.5", rear: JL Audio VR 5x7" powered by a Planet Audio amp 70 watts per channel. I'm looking at the MTX MXA8001. Will this be a good choice or should I look for something else.

Thanking you in advance for any help

What kind of box is the L7 going to be in? If it is a sealed box, then you can put more power to it safely. With a ported box you will not need as much power to get the same output, provided that it is tuned correctly.

That MTX amp will do legit 900 RMS at 2 ohms. They have worked out well for my customers and I am putting two in my truck for next summer.
