I have got a kenwood KDC-MP919, kenwood 9044 EQ,  kenwood 4ch 600w power amp, 2 rockford 500a amps for my subs.

how can i wire this up to use the stock speakers in the car? i am eventually going to replace the stock speakers, but for now I just want to wire the interior speakers up to the 4 channel amp.

thanks

barry

First, what year is the stang?  second you will need to get the wiring diagram of the speakers and get the factory color codes, i would also advise finding information on the amps to make sure it isnt built for speakers with some crazy impedance.  I know in the pre-93 camaros Bose had amps made to handle 16 ohm speakers!  But after you get the wiring diagram you should be able to plug and play.  Sounds like a good setup, but i hope the guy isnt looking for a lot of trunk space.  Also you could re-wire all the speakers.

metra makes a wiring harness that works fine with the mustang, it is a little bit more tedious to wire than your typical wiring harnesses, but works well. ALso, you can buy an adapter from PAC that will do the same thing, if you don't like Metra. If you replace the factory speakers, I STRONGLY recommend removing the amplifiers, because they are junk!!!, very distorted, we sampled the input wave form, we were not to impressed, in fact, I think if you put a filter after the amplifier it may help fix the noisey problems in the output signal. Your setup sounds great, KDCMP919 is a great unit, my Fiancee has one in her car (I am jealus!!!).
