kenwood antenna error?

i've been installing kenwood sirius tuners, hu and fm mods.
on almost 1/3 of the jobs, i get an "ant err" reading. has anyone else experienced this prob. kenwood says the tuner is bad. i know the ant is connected properly. i like kenwood because they are one of the few good brands that use sirius, now im fearing i wont use them because of this problem and too many return jobs. maybe the sr903 tuners are better.

which tuners are you using?? Also which antenna's?? We haven't had any "antenna error"'s on any of our installs. This is the first i've heard of this, we have many regular customers that we have installed Kenwood tuner and antenna and have had no problems.

i've only worked with sr902's. i've had the problem with a terk marine antenna and kenwood's. i'm trying to keep the kenwood faith. kenwood tech supp. said they've seen this problem and 9 times out of 10, it would be the tuner. i dont know, im going to order the new 903's and go from there. im not dissin kenwood.
