i have a gentleman in Alaska that called me today. he got my number off this site. he has a 1997 toyota camry or corolla. the battery went dead and now the radio doesnt work. he said he needs the security code to reset it. i dont know anything about toyota factory radios....i have the vin if that is needed. is there someone that can help out with this problem????

usually they come with a card that has the code when you get the car, otherwise call or go to the local dealer for the code.

he bought the car used, and the nearest dealer is 150 miles away.....i guess thats the best part of living in the area that he lives in...does anyone have a coonection at a dealer that might be able to help.....i have the vin number.....

Send me the info via PM. I need the VIN# (complete) and the radio # on the front face of it. There is no one at the main distributor today to get a new code, thus it will have to wait until monday.
