Put a toggle switch on the remote turn on wire.

but, he would be able to turn it on tho, right?

i was thinkin like... you kno the connections they have for enclosures, the little push thing, and you stick in the wire... and let go and it clamps... do they make little square things like that were u can just put a wire in , and a wire out...? so i could just take out the wire each time i leave the car...

Cut the remote wire into two about a foot from the amp. Cut a second jumper wire that will attach the two. Get two insulated male disconects and two insulated female disconnects. Put both female ends on the remote on wire, put the two male ends on the jumper wire. This keeps him from connecting the remote on wire unless you give him the jumper. It is also a safe way to keep the wires from grounding out.

don't brothers suck!  My bro always cranks my system till it humms, i have no problem with hitting him really hard.  Gave him a bloody nose once.  I suggest you do the same.   In Psycology its referred to as operant conditioning, haha.   So beat his ass till he's scared to touch your system!!

rofl... he is older than me... and fat... i think he would win... i got to the point were i just put little metal v clip things on all the wires... and i just unscrew the screws and take out my amp each time... now he is getting to the point where he is buying a 40 dollar amp... rofl... so i came up with a solution... take off the faceplate like sumone said earlier... but that will only work till the point were my mom doesnt let me drive the car or sumthin... i will win this war... =)

I say the hidden switch idea suggested is by far the best, u won't have to disconnect or uninstall anything each time (what a pain that must be)...Just do a switch inline with the remote wire...hide it well, don't be afraid to take ur time and really really hide it, even if u have to reach into some obscure spot in ur ride to switch it on and off or something...And why is he driving the car anyway, do u guys officially share this car? If so and it's "y'alls" car bought by mom and dad, forget it, it's a losing battle, since according to mom and dad, y'all are supposed to share...But if it's your car and ur just being nice by letting him drive it, do the hidden switch thing.

If he is not tearing them apart by cranking the system don't worry about it.  It takes too much time to try to hide a wire or disable an amp especially when the other person can take their time to find out why the amp isn't on.

I would just start doing things to him that  pissssesss him off until he gets the point..  This is called trained conditioning....  If that doesn't work smack him with a piece of wood with a nail...  he might not stop what he is doing but he will surely understand that you mean business....  and you can also laugh at him while he is in pain...
