i have a brand new scion tc and i hooked up my subs w the factory deck using high level input to the amp, i just hooked up my other amp for speakers, its 2 channel but i split both left to one channel and both right to other, because i used factory deck i had to use line converter for this one, i accidentally tapped the constant power wire to the negative channel input to the line converter, this somehow caused the amp to turn on via the power coming from the right side rca i guess, i figured it out and hooked it back up right, but now the speakers dont play, the subs still work, both amps powered, deck plays fine, but no music from speakers... HELP!!!!

I would bench test that amp even though it is still turning on, if the amp is okay, then i'd try swapping out that line level converter i'm guessing that you are using rear speaker channels for high input on sub amp, and front speaker channels for your mid/high amp line level converter? ------------- ELECTRONICS RUN OFF OF SMOKE, WHEN YOU LET THE SMOKE OUT THEY STOP WORKING

before disconnecting that amp you might try pulling the remote wire on the sub amp so that it doesn't turn on, and then connect a test speaker up to the rca's at the input of the mid/high amp, turn the volum up on the deck and listen to see if you hear the low level coming through the test speaker, if you don't, then you know that you have a signal problem and you won't have to pull the amp to test it ------------- ELECTRONICS RUN OFF OF SMOKE, WHEN YOU LET THE SMOKE OUT THEY STOP WORKING

If you are lucky yuou simply fried the LOC. Try the above suggestions and see if your amps still work. Also, are you still using the Toyota factory speakers? If so, make sure they are not 2-ohm speakers or you have overloaded your mains amp. ------------- Support the12volt.com
