Dont have the car manual, but was wondering if any knew the size of the rear speakers. Apparently it seems to be "missing" and i would like to hook a up customer up with a nice pair of speakers. 6x9s?  Also behind the deck, the unit is wired up to rear (L) (R). But when we took a look in the trunk, i do not see a damn wire going back there to the rear speakers. Any Information is helpfull. Thanks

I believe they are 6x9's in theback of those cars and if the wires arent there, check behind the carpet covering the sides of the trunk, they could be behind there.

The speakers are a 6 1/2 in the ex and lx and most dx's have no provisions. Also the wires are usually behind the carpet by the wheel wells if they aren't tucked up into the rear deck.

hope this helps

Also where would be a nice plaace to ground a 4 gauge wire? We would like to know a good spot to ground to the chasis.

on the floor of the trunk (directly to the chassis...not the rear deck or anything like that).

Is it the coupe or the sedan? For the coupe, it's worth the extra foot of 4GA to make it behind the rear interior panel. There's a hole, already drilled into the vertical bracing, about 8" in front of the lower seat belt point, that is welded very nicely to the frame. I measured 0.03 ohms to the battery in my 95 EX coupe. It should be similar in the sedans, but I'm not totally sure of that. Make sure you take off the paint around the area where your lug is going.

If you're feeling especially masochistic, you can easily locate the parallel rows of spot welds in the trunk that attach the sheet metal to the frame rails. Somewhere within a few inches fo that will work too, but the interior location is a lot easier to stealth than the trunk floor, and less likely to rust out your body if you forget to prime the hole posted_image
