I have a '96 Toyota Corolla and I just replaced my factory HU and speakers with brand new Pioneer speakers and HU.  The installation seemed to have gone smoothly, and the HU and speakers work fine, but my in-dash lights dont come on (i.e. speedometer, a.c./heat controls, etc) anymore.  I dont know what the problem is.  If anyone knows what happened or what I can do, lemme know.

THANKS .

Check your fuses, I've had that happen to me when I was working on another car at CC, it happens every once in a while.

You have probably used the dash lamp wire in the car's radio harness as ground or it is shorted to ground. Use the vehicle chassis for the new radio's ground. All you did was probably blow the illumination fuse in the car's fuse box. Recheck your power and ground wiring at the radio. This probably happens to every installer early in their career.
