resistors install help!

I am installing a new head unit in a infinity g35 coupe and are including a SWI-X 's PAC system to be able to use the steerig wheels controls for volume. the instructions call for connecting two resistors to a plug behind the radio. The question is, how do you install the resistors? do you have to solders them to the plug itself?

If resistors are required all you have to so is solder them inline of the target wire and make sure that you wrap up the resistors after installation with electrical tape or heat shrink tubing.
