I was wondering if anyone has installed a cd player in a 96 cadillace seville. I'm trying to and I've bought three wiring harness's from different places, they've all been the same and they are all wrong. does anybody have a wiring diagram for the factory radio harness?

You should have a Large BLUE plug on the Factory Radio? ! ?
I use Metra Plug # 70-2001

Yeah I have a big b lue plug on the factory radio, and every harness i've bought has fit, but the wires don't line up right. Where did you pick up that Metra Plug #70-2001?

that is the right plug, is the red and yellow wire giving you problems??? if so you have to run your own 12v ignition and constant because there is none in the harness. there is a constant but it shuts down after about 10 minutes of the key being turned off. The best thing to do is go to the ignition harness and get your 12v sources there and it should work,. just make sure you put fuses in line with both power wires.
