A high current amp is not a class of amp, but an indicator of build quality.  Lower ohm loads on an amplifier will cause the amp to respond with a higher amperage to voltage ratio.  Amperage = current.  So the amp provides a high current when loaded with a low ohm load.  Generally these amps are sought for subwoofers when you want to run them at a 1ohm load.  High current wouldn't apply to the front soundstage, where you would want to run the speakers at the normal 4 ohm (sometimes higher) load.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

For a customer vehicle that we are still working on, Haven't decided what  amps and speakers to use.  The size of the speakers that will fit in the stock barring is 6 1/2. So far with some help from a member here we will be using the
ts-w2000spl premiers'. And as for tweeters for the highs, not sure. Some suggestions, or any suggestions will help us. Thanks
