I installed my SoundStream VGA500.4 about a week ago and today I noticed a noise. (sounds like when the needle hits the record) The noise can be heard out of all speakers, Infinity Perfect components in fron and Infinity 6x9's in the back, when the volume is off but HU is on and when the volume is on @ all levels. Any imput would be great.

what is your deck?
are your power wires & speaker wires & RCA wires seperated throughout the car?

I have a pioneer DEH P840. And yes my speaker/RCAs are seperated from my power except for on point where the speaker wire for the left front crosses over the power wire.

Sounds like defective RCA cables, or a bad amp or head unit ground.

I'll check my grounds tomorrow, hopefully that's the problem...
