hey im having a problem with a Sony CDX2180 head unit in a 93 camaro z28. i recently installed it and it worked fine until i hit the next track button, and the sound just cut out. after turning the car off i came back to it later and the sound was working again, but then it cut out again. now it doesnt work at all, any ideas?

is the unit turning on or is there just no soúnd?

Maybe possible that the faceplate is not making good contact? Check the connections on the back of the faceplate to make sure that the contacts are clean.
