just whant to know youre advice about this unit the eclipse 3414 head unit just wanted to know ho old this unit is im looking in buying one and is it recomended unit?

If this is the CD3414 then it is a brand new model and it rocks. It's only shortfall is that it does not have a dedicated subwoofer preout (easily rectified by buying the proper amp of crossover though). It's a great cd player and if the deal is right, then go for it.

YOU WON"T HAVE A WARRANTY!!! Eclipse is VERY strict about their warranties, and you MUST buy from a brick-n-mortar authorized dealer, and NEVER off the 'net. Just a heads up for you...

some say you get original receipt where they bought it where unit still under warranty,
