I'm looking to get two new amps. I'm kinda torn between the MA audio Hard Core AB series or the Rockford Fosgate Punch series amplifiers. Any suggestion or facts would be awesome.

Thanks.

really depends on what kinda power ur lookin to push. I personally dont like MA audios amplifiers but I haven't seen their Hard Core series so I dont know if they've improved much from their old Fire Ball series (I know thats not their name, its just my nick name for them) and the newer fosgate stuff is suppose to be good and I haven't heard anything bad about them. But in the end it really comes down to what kinda power ur lookin to push.

A few of my friends have MA amps. Sick man. they put lots of power out. I'd buy one, but I dont need that kinda power. As for the rockford, I have owned them before (the newer stuff) and I havent had good luck with them. They put out nice clean power when they work. The rest of the time its in the shop for repairs.

I have still yet to have more than a single RF model come back defective. I have had, I believe, 1 2002 and one 6001 defective and thats it. Considering that I have sold, in my best guess, 50 of the new rf amps this year, thats a pretty good ratio. As for MA audio, I havent had experience with the hardcore line but I know that the stuff they have in town here is crap that blows up half the time. I also need to point out that last year and the year before the RF amps did blow up quite a bit so I can understand why some people would have a very bad view of them, but they did get better.

Don't know much about either amp anymore but you might want to look into the RF amp.  RF is has been having quality issues which has been recognized by the manufacturer.  Knowing this, RF has begun the look at their production lines and make improvements on their units.  They are also giong throught a lot of restructuring internally due to profit drops.

RF is looking at divesting their MB Quart line over seas and keeping open ther North American MB Quart business.  Knowing that good products create sales, I would think that it is safe to say look at getting the RF amp.  It should be of better quality than they were just a few months ago.
