make sure you arent running the rcas next to the  the power wire going to the amp... try to run all rcas down one side and the power down the other, the same side of your battery is more prefered.... what is the eq mounted on to... also run a try running set of rcas outside the car from the radio to the eq and if the noise goes away change the rca cables

the rcas are fine and they are an opposite sides now i dont get the sound from the radio it self connected to both amps but when i add the eq bzzzzz everytime the engine is running i am thinking it is the eq

recheck all the grounds try to ground the amps and the eq at the same point....also is the noise constant turn the volume down all the way and rev the engine does the noise stay or disappear..also where is the eq  located at in the install try moving it around to another place ....good luck

the eq is by the radio, cant ground the eq and amps together cause than one of the grounds will be to long and probably make sound louder and yes it is constant ass long as engine is on . also when music is low . very anoying.  i put diodes on power and ground of radio and eq and killed th noise 30 percent but dont know what else and like i said if i dont use eq and just use rcas to the radio no noise no problem so i figure it is the eq.it self

it may work for you what you want is 1amp diodes place on poss and neg of eq it does kill a lot of the noise,   they only work in one direction so make sure you place in line with wires and if you get no responce flip and then touch together. do one wire at a time what i mean is leave on connected normally and do negative first.

example

wire-------------|diode|---------wire

connect with fingers first before taping or using butt splices to make sure right connection is good . if you have a remote turn on for this eq you will need to add one to that too. they are two packs and cost 1 dollar . at radio shack what you will get is 1 amp 200v max diodes .

well i took car of my system i killed the noize , it was the eq. i opened up the eq and grounded the input negative side of rcas better with a wire sodared from the negative wire to the two input neagtive sides of rca . these are grounds anyways so i thought what the hell i'll try it i mean i have done the same thing to radios before and killed it but this is not recomended right away for anyone . what you should do fist is ground a wire and touch it against outer part of eq (quick) with some units this is not good so for those engine noise people heres a try.
