I am looking to install a remote control knob for my subwoofers running off an Infinity Reference 1210a amp. The port for the reomte is an RJ type jack, similar to a phone plug. I have also seen these on some other brands. Are they universal, or do I need Infinity's specific control (Reference 100RC)? Second question; does anyone know the wiring info for such a knob? It has 4 wires, and I am wondering if I can just make my own out of parts from Radio Shack. Whether I make one or buy Infinity's, I would like to wire two knobs with a switch, so I can have one up at the dash and a second knob in the hatch of my truck by the subs. I would wire the switch in the back as well. Thanks!

That infinity amp can use outher controlers such as the previous generation of RF bass knobs.
