I'm a fairly advanced installer, professionaly for about five years now.

My father is getting a 2005 Pacifica in a few weeks.  From what the both of us can tell, there is a 7 and 8 speaker system available, both by Infinity.  I am assuming its the same head unit and amp for the interior speakers.  From what I understand from his research, there is a panel where the second amp would be mounted for the factory sub (the 8th speaker).

Since this is a company car, he was shipped the 8 speaker system.  So he's turned to me.  I would assume I could grab the sound input from this harness, but I am not sure.  I don't know if the sound at that point is high or low level, or if it can be  controlled by the deck.

Anyone had any experience with these cars?  I think the 2004 is basically the same vehicle as usual.

Thanks for the help!

Robbie

I have not seen these cars before (we live in truck country). In any case I would look into using a Audio Control interface for your LOC. These things are capable of taking either a preamp or speaker level signal of any type. All you need to do is locate the proper wires and solder rca ends onto the Audio Control and you are done.
