hey i've got a pair of 15w3's in a sealed enclosure in my 93 buick regal. whenever i turn up my bass at all my trunk sounds like it's gonna fall off. would a layer of dynamat fix this or do i need to tighten some bolts as well?

do both. might take 5 more minutes, but its worth a shot. however, i dont think a single layer will do the trick, u might have to go over it a few times. take time to listen to the car from the outside and see which panels rattle the most, then layer them up.

You might want to invest in dynamat trunk kit and cover your entire trunk

Dynomat on top of Dynomat untill it stops but some cars no matter what you do are gonna rattle. Put somthing behind the license plate too.

I had a 93 Regal with the same problem. When you dynamat the trunk, it adds extra weight, so the trunk lid might not stay open by itself. There is a bar that you can move to a different position under the rear decklid to add more spring tension. Take the taillights out and put dynamat around the screw holes, and like Rushman said, behind the license plate.

i would look into rubberized undercoating the whole trunk. you will be able to get into smaller spaces
