Should the box volume be the recommended enclousure volume + the speakers displacement, or should it just be the recommended enclousure volume. Basically do they take into account the speakers displacement when the post the numbers for the enclousure volume ?

It depends on the manufacturer and this will usually be made clear in the owner's manuals, but in general the listed volume is NET, meaning after taking woofer and bracing displacement into account.

also remember alot of box volumes givin by the manufactor are MINIMUM air space and usually doesnt hurt to give a litle bit more space for woofers as it can give them a deeper boomier sound , depends on the kind of sound your looking for.
