ok, if im not running speackers on the frunt channel of the hu does the rear power out putt dobble or does this power become unused???

won't make a difference but wouln't recommend doing that it may damage your HU.  want more power add an amp....

This will damage your head unit if you try to put 2 positive wires together that are deriving thier power from diffrent sources    bye bye.

the theory of a floating ground HU is that every speaker wire has to isolated from the chassis of the vehicle and also isolated from each other...... you cannot "bridge" the front and rear output stages on a 4 channel hybrid IC.... nor can you "common" the speaker negatives.... every connection must float ( be isolated ) from the others....

 AC for speaker outputs......not a good idea to combine the leads
