I was looking to buy a OEM Suburban radio on ebay with XM built into the unit. I've found an '04 unit but we have a 2001 Suburban. Will the wiring harness and mounting work from a'04 to a '01? If so, can I get the factory Satellite radio antenna for the '04 and use it? Thanks

NO.........04 will NOT fit 01............04 radio is DATA type radio & different size
Will NOT work
If U R wanting XM for your 01, just get the Delphi unit. It can be removed for In-House use, or portable "Boom Box" available for it.
Otherwise U will have to install aftermarket radio with XM
