Has anyone put a system into one of these jeep type vehicle.  If so, what system did you put in (deck/amp/sub/speakers). Where did you locate items?  What about waterproofing?  Oh, this is a 1994 land rover defender 90, soft top.  Thanks...

Yep I`ve installed them a few times but not anything of quality., nor in a soft top. In the UK we can get a universal DIN radio housing designed for older cars which is normally screwed under the dash to house the HU. As far as I can recall, on the Defender the housing goes in the centre of the dashboard and power can be drawn from the fusebox underneath. I don`t know what to suggest about speakers though,  on the hard top version the speakers are mounted to the rear of the door pillars up by the roof. I`ll see if I can get any better ideas for you and get back to you.
