Hey guys I actually need some advise....Is the 04 buick With the monsoon surround one of the Gm vehicles that the factory radio needs to be relocated? I am not finding anything in my books...I know the monsoon have a seprate amp. not the amps on each speaker, it is equiped with on-star but it is not hooked up any more.. He wants to remove the factory radio, replace it with aftermarket and use the factory amp to power the factory speakers still. He then wants to add 2 subs and a seprate amp, I need to know about the radio if it needs to be relocated and if anyone has seen any adaptors to mantain the factory amp....thanks alot guys

Radio needs to be relocated, and I think the amp needs to be wired around and cannot be used in conjunction with a new deck but I could be wrong about that.

to maintain the amp you have to run an extra wire not supplied on the relocation T harness, ( i usually do this right in the trunk between the relocated radio and the monsoon amp ) this will keep the Monsoon amp remoted on and you can then run signal into it....

And make sure that you give the antenna a 12 volt line. It should have a hidden module above the reat seat passenger side, in the ceiling. Check to see if it there.
