Hello there!!

I want to turn the amp off, when the stereo is on.

A switch is ok?
Or the remote cable send some kind of signal?

A switch on the remote-on trigger is the easiest way to do this.  You can use a simple toggle switch.

usually only 200ma so a toggle is fine
