I did not use the wire bracket but instead removed the connectors in order to wire the stereo myself. I was able to get the stereo to work but I now have a problem with the interior lights not working and the park lights not turning on with the switch. Can anyone help a lost boy???

sounds like you shorted the dimmer wire behind the radio... replace the blown fuse... if it blows again remove the radio, clean up your left over wiring and reinstall it.....

recheck your connections.  Make sure anything hooked up to speakers does not show 12v or ground then check all fuses once more.
