Don't forget there is another catagory of competition other than SPL.

Does anyone have any trophies from SQ or SPL??

I had various trophies for the company Integra over the past 4-5 years. Mostly from local * provincial competitions, nothing sanctioned of course. I don't like those comps personally. I only enter the SQ or SQ+ portions of the comps.

I personally don't  find any satisfaction in trophies for myself, I would much rather have my customers winning them.

My trophies include going bald (and what's left is gray) and lots of scars on my hands.

Does the store with the most hot women coming in count for anything?

Umm... I don't know bout that whole balding, graying hair kinda thing, but I don't have any trophies yet, as I have gone to any comps yet.

And yes, Rob, hot women DO count.

Really?? I'm cranking out 'bout 146dB with 1 Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1D (2 ohms) with a PPI PCX 1200 (500 watts RMS)in a sealed 1.25 cubic ft box. And it's tuned for SQ!

Paul, I have used those subs before and If you are metering 146 I have to question the accuracy of the meter. I have 3 first place trophies for SPL and one Second Place for SQ. I ran 4 pioneer 12's and Pioneer Rev Components. I used a HCCA 425 for the subs and a Micro Dimension 702 for my highs. All that was routed through a Audiocontrol 3.1 I also have to point out that I used a 9cubic foot ported box

All i can say is the term lab is a very tight mic.    dosent measure peaks at certin frequencies, it truly measures pressure.   All I can say is right now using 2 10 inch eclipse 7100 series in a 1.5 cuft per sub box, vented to 38 hz with a freq in car at around 43 hz we are hitting 144.7db
