Im tryna decide how ima position my amps. I been thinkin about mounting them to my box, building a custom wood wall in my trunk to mount them on, and jus leaving them on the floor neatly. any suggestions, pros and cons about these positions. Help me out...

I wouldnt recommend putting the on the sub box, its just not the best place for the amp, with all that constant vibration. In my car the amps are on the floor of the trunk mounted to boards that are under the carpet. I would do that unless trunk space is a problem, if it is, then make a amp rack.

One quick question though...your signature says you have a 2001 olds 88, they didnt make delta 88's in '01. I think they stopped makin em in '93. Correct me if im wrong though.

Umm, I just mounted mine to two wood strips to get the amp off the ground. You can also leave them on the ground if they're not putting off to much heat.

Mounting amps to the sub box is perfectly fine. The vibrations wont do any damage to them. Thats a wives tale. I personally would choose the amp rack over anything, and I would choose the floor last but thats just my opinion, what do I know

Simplest terms-- its just a board with your amps screwed to it and the board mounted in the car.  Keeps amps and wires from getting fubar.

If it don't fit, Force it.
If it breaks, You needed a new one anyway!
