I have a soundstream VGA800.5 and I'm not too sure on how to adjust all these knobs. I've had a system before and didn't know much so I use to turn everything on max. Hopefully someone can walk me through this because I'm lost. I'm running (1) JLW6V2 and (4) MB quarts RKC110's, what would you guys recommend i set the frequency and so forth at? These are the knobs I need help setting:

Subwoofer : Boost ( 0dB - 18dB ) ?

                       EQ ( 30Hz - 100 Hz ) ?

                       Gain ( MIN - MAX ) ?

                       Sub Sonic ( 10Hz - 100Hz ) ?

                       LPF ( 50Hz - 5KHz ) ?

  Coaxials :   Boost ( 0dB - 18dB ) ?

                      EQ ( 30Hz - 100 Hz ) ?

                      Gain ( MIN - MAX ) ?

                     Sub Sonic ( 10Hz - 100Hz ) ?

                     LPF ( 50Hz - 5KHz ) ?

X-Over ( FULL, HPF ) which one should I go with?

Whatever you do don't simply turn everything to the max.  Have you seriously done this in the past?  You risk damaging your equipment and your hearing and making your system of otherwise decent stuff sound like a jhuge joke.  Check out https://www.bcae1.com and try to learn what all these things do.  https://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/ and your manuals are also good sources of information.

1) turn the LPF on .. it should be around 100hz
2) turn the Sub Sonic on .. start at 20-25hz, higher if you have a ported or bandpass box
3) Leave the EQ and BOOST off for now.
4) those sites will have step by step guides to setting gain .. follow it carefully .. this step is very important unless you want to damage your speakers

coax
1) turn HPF on, use 100hz .. maybe 120hz or higher .. what size speakers are those?
2) sub sonic should be off .. lpf should be off
3) gain should be set according to those sites .. again .. this is reall important
4) boost and eq should be off

Anyway .. hope this helps

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
