im installing a JVC deck into a 96 Cavalier. The deck turns on but i have no sound from my speakers. Can anyone help me

You have speakers correctly installed, right?
You get on screen display, right?
You can adjust stations on the FM band, right?
You know the deck works previously? Is it a new deck? Where did you purchase the deck?
Are you using factory wires, or new wires?
With the deck out, but powered from the dash, can you connect a speaker to one of the output channels on the deck? You should be able to troubleshoot with the deck pulled out from the dash.
