Have a Pioneer DEH-P9600mp and a Pioneer xm reciver. What I need to know is ...what if any wiring changes I need to make in order to keep my stock Monsoon amp hooked up when I install the New Pioneer unit. I will be useing a standard wiring harness adapter so as not to cut stock wiring harness,
Thanks

Just make sure you connect the amp turn-on wire (blue/white).

Thanks so much for the help. I understand that I also hve to run a seperate wire to a hot wire that is activated when the key is turned on to the ACC position as someone told me that the OEM unit uses some type of coded info that will allow the radio to work after you turn the key off as long as you don't open the door, at which point the radio will shut down.
Do you know anything about this??
Thanks
Steve

This is true,  you will have to run a wire from either the fuse box or the main accy wire itself.  If you want to retain the power on until you open the door feature, you can use a relay.  There's a diagram on this site under the relay section.   If you catch your power from the fuse box, I would either catch the non-powered side of the fuse or run another fuse in line to be safe.
