What pair of RF subs would match a RF p8002 amp with 800x1 @ 4ohm bridged? Would the P2 or P3 series be better?
The P8002 is the highest new RF punch model so it would make sense to match it to best punch subwoofer model right? (P3). The best way to find out is by trial and error but has anyone been succesfull with a combination using this amplifier?

I would put that amp on two 12 P2's in a custom box. You'd be amaze in your results.

Rookie of the year that is...
Don't let the smoke out of your equiptment..it doesn't go back in.
I wanted to get a pair of speakers so that I would be pushing my amp to it's potential. In other words, I want a two ohm load on each channel or four ohm bridged.
If I get 2 12" P2 @ 4ohms I will only be using 200W per channel. I can't bridge these speakers since my amp is not stable at 2ohm bridged. $130
If I get 2 12" P2 @ 8ohms I will be using 800W bridged RMS but each one is 200 RMS and 400peak for a total rating of 400RMS and 800peak. $130
If I get 2 12" P3 @ 4ohm DVC I can wire them for a 4ohm load with 800 RMS but the total RMS of these subs is 1000RMS. $250
If I get 2 10" P3 @ 4ohm DVD I can wire them for a 4ohm load with 800RMS and the total RMS of these subs is 800RMS but they are smaller. $200
Now that you know my options what would you sugest? Should I really be running my amp at 2ohm or should I just go with the P212D4. The P212D8 I don't think are a good option. I like the P312D4 DVC but will they really need more power than what I have to sound better than the P212D4's? Sq will be better at 4ohm but will SPL be alot better with P312D4's? What do you think some of the advantages of the P210D4 DVC's will be? Pricewize the P3's are alot more expensive. I want to get them from Best Buy because of their extended warranty.
If anyone took the time to read all of this I would like to thank you for your time.

I would use the dual 4 ohm 12" P3 and wire them up in a series / parallel arrangement to load the amp into bridged mono at 4 ohms. After that it is all box, box, box.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
What box type do you recommend? I usually build sealed enclosures because of the ease of calculations and tigher bass. Since I won't be able to push the RMS from my amp to the RMS of the speakers is there a preference? Do you really think they are worth it? Have you used these?
