I know that there is a way to do it my self.  I am trying to make my own Aux input adapter for my 2004 Honda Accord LX.  They make these adapters that plug in but they cost about $100.  I am trying to keep that as my last resort!  My only problem is that I do not know how to get the Radio reciever to recognize or trigger the Aux function on the radio to the Ipod when I have the Rca and mini adapter plugged in?  There are 14 pins and they are as followed:

Constant Power, Acc(system), Ground (Bus), Audio (R ch +), Audio (L ch +), Constant power, Lights- on signal, Bus (+), Bus(-), Ground Main, Audio (R ch -), Audio (L ch -)..  Which one of these will give me the signal that I need and will I get noise interference if I do not have a filter?  Any help will be appreciated.  I also have a drawn diagram of the interface plug that i can e mail.

you wont be able to just tap into wires and get that radio to recognize the ipod, the reason these adapters are around 100 bucks is because they are digital, the communicate with the digital bus to get the radio to recognize the the Aux source, which you have to do over the CD changer port.Get an inteface to do it, if you try tapping wire you could fry your cars computer, not good!!!!
