Recently after 4 years of no problems, my system has developed a low rumbling noise that can be heard through the subs when skipping songs on a CD on receiver and changer or changing discs on the changer. What could be causing this? Could it be a bad RCA? Please help. Thanks.

i would try cleaning your rca connections without power running through them..You might just be reaching the end of the life of one of the items, try this ans let us know..I would use a alchol or fast dring substance to clean it with

I think Jeff is right.Sounds like you have a bad ground(shield) connections in your RCA cables.Could be bad solder connection in deck also.

Well I was about to check the RCA's and removed the head unit. I noticed that the cable for the changer was slightly loose. I didn' t  know if I just did it removing the deck but when I pushed it back in it seems to have corrected the problem. If it comes back I'll check the RCA's and let you know. Thanks for your help.
